About Me
I have always loved art. Ever since I was little I was making! I first fell in love with ceramics in high school and have continued my career in education as well as a local artist!

I currently work at Reynoldsburg High School as a 9-12 Visual arts teacher. I teach both art 1 and art 2.

My goal with my students is to get them to connect with something creative. For beginner artists it can be hard to find where to land. My work has left a lot of open space for exploration and a development of craft.

I truly believe that my own art education saved my life. It allowed me to overcome anxiety and create a mindset where I recognize failure as a step to discovery. Every step builds! As an educator I hope to facilitate this idea for my students and help them to become creative problem solvers.

Outside of art I love to be connected with the community. I frequently visit art pop ups, studio spaces, and even just the farmers market! In the summer I work in the music and service industry to meet people and spread joy through Columbus!
